Wrapping up a day at Universal - the non-Harry Potter and Marvel Island parts - and it's wild, wet, and Whimpy! (More on that later)
Nothing like taking in the sights on Dr. Seusss Island with my very own Thing One and Thing Two
Universal means a trip or two or three or four around Popeye and Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges, a sure-fire way to get soaked. See, Tropical Storm Debbie wasn't providing enough water, so we figured we'd take a few trips around the waterways to guarantee our saturation. Andrew seems to be praying as we enter the rapids. Either that or it's a pre-meal grace prayer.
Barry wins the wet tee-shirt contest. Sorta.
If you're in the lands of Popeye, that also means his friend Whimpy, and where Whimpy is concerned, that means burgers, and where burgers are concerned, well, guess who's not far behind? He'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.
Andrew found his new life mantra waiting for him there.
He doesn't even know where to begin with this stack
Done with the burgers, it was time to move on to another comic strip - Blondie's, home of the Dagwood sandwich. Once again, Andrew's heart was broken when he realized the props weren't real.
Auditioning for the part in Adorable Me, my beautiful Heather, along with her minion friend.
Thanks for a great - yet soggy - day, Universal! Next up: DisneyWorld!
